I am a retired dentist from California. I thoroughly researched the clinic before going forward with the procedure. I had a friend from Calif that had 5 hair transplants prior to his final one with Dr. Pong. I observed him from start to finish. Finally he had the appearance he had wanted since the age of 28. This is what convinced me to also go ahead. I had some hair transplant over the years and this would be my last one. Now one year later, I can say that I am completely satisfied with every aspect of the procedure. My last comment would be with how meticulous the suturing was done. I have placed and watched others place sutures. Dr. Pong is a master.

I had my transplant in 2013. The entire procedure from start to finish was extremely professional. My hair came in just as explained. I never took any additional supplements or growth products. To this day, my hair looks perfect. Great job by Doctor Pong and his staff.

I am a 63 year old american and i travelled to Thailand to see Dr Pong on the advice of a friend and was extremely pleased with my results. Like many of you I was not satisfied with losing my hair.  After two procedures in the United States I was not satisfied with the results or the high costs associated with hair loss procedures in the U.S. so I started to research options overseas.  After much research one site that interested me was Dr. Pong at THTC.  His website clearly outlined everything I wanted to know about hair transplants and his approach to the procedure. 

I decided to reach out and get a quote from Dr. Pong.  It was very simple by taking the pictures of my hairline that he requested and emailing them to his office.  Dr. Pong quickly reviewed and emailed me back with clear language about the number of grafts that would be appropriate and the associated costs.  I had many questions and he answered each one patiently and continued to make me comfortable with choosing his practice.

Still nervous, as I knew that if I did proceed with Dr. Pong I would return to the United States and if I was not pleased with the results I would have no recourse to resolve my displeasure.  Even though Dr. Pong’s website clearly stated he would guarantee my results, I was not confident that would happen.  I did decide to move forward and I cannot say enough kind words about Dr. Pong and his entire staff.

This is a first class practice.  I was made to feel at home once I arrived.  The recommendations for hotel which was a short walk was great.  Follow up appointments were reassuring and the daily shampoos with one-on-one sessions to review the newly planted grafts by Dr. Pong personally were wonderful.  Neither of my previous transplant procedures in the U.S. went to such lengths to ensure my grafts were healthy and growing properly.  I can’t thank Dr. Pong and his great staff enough.

Ok...here is the icing on the cake, besides the fact that I got a great holiday in Thailand along with the transplant.  I am writing this review some 8 or 10 years after my first procedure with Dr. Pong and his staff.  I returned to Dr. Pong in September of 2019 after emailing him with some concern about the size of my donor scar.  I expected that not only would Dr. Pong not remember me but that I would not receive a response that I was happy with.  I was wrong.  Dr. Pong clearly remembered my case and told me to take some pictures and send them to him.  Once again he quickly emailed me with each email and he indicated that he would be happy to correct the size of the donor scar by removing some of the scar.

I just sent Dr. Pong some updated pictures of the recently revised donor scar and told him how happy I was with the work he did to correct the size of the original scar.  Dr. Pong is a man of his word and fully lived up to his guarantee!  Thank you Dr. Pong, you are a very rare doctor in this industry which is based on trust!

Now understand that I was not a typical case for Dr. Pong.  I had two previous surgeries in the U.S. and the doctors there made two separate donor scars instead of one.  I wanted Dr. Pong to try to remove both scars and create one donor scar after his procedure.  That probably pushed it too far which created my scar to stretch.  Dr. Pong was very kind and explained why it happened and that he would do a revision surgery at no cost to reduce the scar.  The results are fantastic.

Thank you again to Dr. Pong and his entire staff.  You are a class act!
